Latvian patent attorneys retain rights of representation before the Court of Cassation
In accordance with Article 82.1 (5) of Latvian Civi Procedure Law, starting 1st of March 2021, Latvian professional patent attorneys retain the rights to represent natural and legal persons in relation to industrial property infringements and protection before the Court of Cassation. Moreover, Latvian professional patent attorneys also keep the rights to represent clients in matters concerning protection of trade secrets, unlawful acquisition, use and disclosure thereof.
